    South Africa take on Australia in the third World Test Championship Final after Australia secured a 3-1 series victory over India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with a decisive win in Sydney. South Africa secured their spot at Lord's thanks to a thrilling victory over Pakistan in their Boxing Day Test Match. The final will take place at Lord’s, London from June 11 to 15. 

    That victory saw the Proteas secure their spot in the World Test Championship Final, barring any subsequent points deductions, for the first time and comes on the back of a seven wins in their last 11 matches. 

    The final is the ultimate Test between the two top sides in the last two years of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle. The two teams will contest the Final, starting on Wednesday 11 June.
