Brie Larson is trading the superhero cape for Greek classics. The Oscar-winning actor from such projects as Room, Lessons in Chemistry, and Marvel's Captain Marvel will be making her West End debut in a new revival of Sophocles's classic tale Elektra at the Duke of York's theatre in London on 24 January 2025.

The new production will be directed by Daniel Fish, who has staged stunning revisionist takes on classic shows like Oklahoma!, which went on to earn Tony Awards for Best Revival of a Musical and Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Ali Stroker in 2019, and Poor Beck for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
This blazing piece of drama that has lived on for centuries tells the story of a woman who must survive after her father's assassination and what happens when her brother comes out of the woodworks to encourage her to avenge their father's death. This will be the first major revival of Elektra in over a decade.
